Here are some fitness tips and advice to set yourself up for success:
- Look over your schedule and plan workouts for the week. Choose a time slot and a backup in case your schedule changes. Ex: Pack your workout clothes and change at the gym
- Any amount of workout time is better than none. If you’re planned workout gets cut short for some reason- get in what you can!
- Have planned cheat meals. (Not cheat days) That way it’s something to look forward to and keeps you on track.
- Identify the times you struggle most to stay on track and not over consume. Have a plan! For example: if you crave treats as soon as you get home from work/school have a healthy alternative like yogurt, nuts or fruit ready when you get home.
- Don’t wait for a special date or time to start on your fitness journey! There’s no time like the present! How about today!!
- If you’re done eating for the day and you don’t want to be tempted to snack… go brush your teeth! You most likely won’t be hungry anymore!
